Mechanical/Electrical Designer (Columbus)

We are currently seeking a qualified Mechanical/Electrical Designer to join our team! The Mechanical/Electrical Designer is responsible for the performance of all project tasks to meet the final products technical requirements and goals of the client while maintaining Quality standards.

• $50,000 to $75,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Performs site visits and surveys of existing facilities.

• Design and Draft MEP plans and construction documents.

• Possesses knowledge of fundamental Thermodynamic codes.

• Maintains collaborative departmental relationships with the project team.

• Assists senior management in QA/QC review of project submissions.

• Works closely with project teams to effectively deliver scope of work.

• Promotes, utilizes, and supports quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience in the MEP field.

• Excellent: Time management and communication skills.

• Proficiency: In Revit, AutoCAD and/or other discipline-specific programs preferred.

• Office: Familiarity with Microsoft products and small business environments a plus.

• Salary commensurate on experience and knowledge of job requirements.
